POTF2 RC Boba Fett (Upside Down)
This figure was the 9th Boba Fett variant sold by that same seller on January 13, 2009. How did he acquire these hard to find items? Why did he get rid of them? This one sold for $253.63US.
Sold for $481.98US on December 24, 2008. The seller noted that he received this figure from an ex-Kenner Employee. He also specified that the legs are missing the COO and year, and also that the feet do in fact have peg holes.
Not one but TWO Hungarian bootleg Boba Fett figures were up for auction over the holidays. The first one (red card) sold for $636.00US on December 31, 2008....Happy New Year to the winner! The second one (blue card) hit the $120.00US point, but ended early (on January 5, 2009)... likely because someone offered the seller a ridiculously large sum of cash to buy it ASAP. Oh well.
I'm finally back from my hiatus! The holidays were good to me, as I'm sure it was for so many others (Boba Fett-wise). Over the next few days I'll be posting all of the great deals that I came across this past holiday season, starting with this figure. This hard to find Italian Boba Fett with stand-up-bubble sold as part of a 3-piece lot for $59.38US on January 4, 2009. What a great steal! I know this figure found a good home.
The new owner has graciously provided another pic. Thanks.
